Moreover, keeping up with our promise to bring only the best and premium products to Pakistan, we signed a contract with Audi AG in 2005 to be appointed as their sole Importer and dealer in Pakistan. In 2017, this partnership went global after which we also acquired the sole Importer status in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
In 2018, Premier Motors (Pvt.) Emerged as a result of the establishment of an assembly contract with Volkswagen AG which aimed to build an assembly line in Karachi.
At Premier Systems, we foresee the world trends and forecast the technological gaps they may create. Therefore, it’s no surprise that we anticipated the need for an online Payment gateway and founded the Avanza Premier Payment Services (Pvt.) Limited in 2018. This joint venture with Avanza Solutions launched Pakistan’s Fastest Payment Gateway – APPS. We operate with a philosophy to build groundbreaking payment solutions that provide an online payment experience with diverse means of payment acceptance on a single checkout.
In 2020, we incorporated Premier Code (Pvt.) Limited as a joint venture with JSR Telecommunications. This initiative is reflective of our value of investing back in Pakistan. Our aim is to become the first Pakistani brand to design and develop smartphones locally.
Premier Systems (Pvt.) Limited is founded, with a vision to become the maestro of ICT infrastructure in Pakistan.
Premier Systems is chosen to be the sole Audi importer for Pakistan. The first Audi Centre is established in Karachi.
Premier Systems expands into the Middle East with the establishment of Premier Systems FZE in the UAE.
Premier Systems is appointed as the sole importer for Audi Automobiles in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Premier Motors Limited (PML) is set up, with independent dealerships in both markets.
Avanza Premier Payment Services (Pvt.) Limited, a joint venture of Avanza Solutions and Premier Systems, is established to launch Pakistan’s Fastest Payment Gateway – APPS.
Premier Motors signs a CKD Assembly contract with Volkswagen AG to start producing vehicles in Pakistan.
Premier Code (Pvt.) Ltd is launched for the assembly of mobile phones and accessories in Pakistan.
With enormous multivendor knowledge on the back of technology alliances with the global ICT bellwethers, including Microsoft, HP, Cisco and Juniper, the company has handled multiple projects of small, mid-sized and large customers belonging to various industries, such as Telecom, Banking, Oil and Gas and Defence in Pakistan, UAE and Afghanistan. Gradually making inroads into the African market, we have successfully delivered data centre consultancy, power system audit and HP Blade and storage in the world’s second largest continent.
Premier Systems has a team of seasoned engineers on its roster and a number of committed sub-contractors for designing, building, management, compliance, testing, production and support of end-to-end solutions. We heavily invest in re-certification of our team members.
Premier Systems (Pvt.) Ltd owes its existence and exemplary performance to the late Mr. Pervez Abbasi – a man of vision, direction, and achievement.
Mr. Abbasi started his career in the early 60s with Shaw Wallace Pakistan (R. G. Shaw UK Limited) in shipping, trade and finance. He quickly rose to a senior management position during his nine years of association with them; and in 1969 moved into the oil marketing industry by joining Caltex Oil Pakistan Limited where he was the Marketing Manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan, amongst other positions during his 10 years with the Company.
After almost two decades of international expertise in the shipping, oil marketing and technology industry, Mr. Abbasi joined the family business established by his father – I.A. Abbasi, who was the principal architect of modernizing the port and shipping container terminals at Karachi Port.
In addition to launching Premier Systems (Pvt.) Ltd., Mr. Abbasi also seized the opportunity to launch the first private crude oil refinery at Hub Baluchistan – which is the largest refinery operational in Pakistan till date.
Owing to his lively, active and inspirational personality, Mr. Abbasi remained associated as a member of prestigious institutions such as, the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers and the Institute of Transport, etc. He also served as the Member Managing Committee & Senior Vice Chairman at FPCCI; Vice Chairman & Chairman at Pakistan Ships Agents Association; Secretary General & Executive Vice President at National Rifle Association of Pakistan; and Secretary General South Asia Shooting Confederation & Member Executive Committee of Commonwealth Shooting Federation. He was appointed A-Class Jury Judge Shooting by the International Olympic Association – the only record for Pakistan so far. He left for his eternal abode on the 25th of July 2006.
